In 1992, he founded a law firm that over time gradually grew and came to operate under the name of TUMA • MIHALIK • SOUKUP. He focuses mainly on civil, commercial, administrative, family and labour law, corporation affairs and real estate. He speaks Czech, Russian and some German.
He is the first vice-president of the Czech Lawyers Union, the secretary of the Czech Lawyers Union board and president of the board of directors of the Právnický dům foundation. He has been awarded a prestigious legal award, the Antonín Randa Medal, and a commemorative medal of the Prague association of the Czech Lawyers Union.
